The First Team Champ™ In-Ground Adjustable Basketball Goal is an affordable yet durable solution for residential and institutional basketball courts. Designed with a sturdy 4” x 4” 11-gauge steel post, this system is 50% heavier than comparable goals, ensuring superior strength and stability. Unlike sectional posts that wobble and rust, the one-piece post construction guarantees long-term durability.

Equipped with the Insta-Just™ height adjustment mechanism, the Champ allows for easy rim height adjustments from 10’ to 7’6” in 6” increments using a simple broom handle—no tools required. The super-strength flex goal is directly mounted to eliminate backboard stress, enhancing longevity and performance.

Choose from acrylic or tempered glass backboards to suit your playing needs. For added safety, optional bolt-on TuffGuard backboard padding is available in multiple colors, along with all-weather Velcro wrap-around post padding.

The standard in-ground installation requires the post to be buried 36” below the playing surface, but an FT16 ground sleeve option is available to make the post removable. Alternatively, order the “BP” model units for an optional bolt-down baseplate.
