The First Team Slam™ In-Ground Adjustable Basketball Goal is an affordable yet high-performance system designed for effortless height adjustment, superior durability, and long-term playability. With a one-piece 4” x 4” 11-gauge steel post, this system eliminates the instability and rusting issues common with sectional posts, ensuring maximum strength and durability.

The Quick-Pin™ height adjustment system allows the Slam to adjust from 10’ to 7’ in 6” increments in just seconds. Simply pull the pin, lift the adjustment handle, and lock it in place—no tools required. The spring-assisted extension assembly counterbalances the backboard and rim weight, making height adjustments smooth and effortless.

Choose from acrylic or tempered glass backboards, with super-strength flex goals that are direct-mounted to eliminate stress on the backboard. For enhanced safety, optional bolt-on TuffGuard backboard padding and Velcro wrap-around post padding are available.

This system includes a 24” post-to-backboard extension, providing optimal playing space beneath the hoop. Standard installation requires the post to be buried 36” below the playing surface, but an FT16 ground sleeve option allows for removability. Additionally, the "BP" model units feature an optional bolt-down baseplate for alternative installation.
